Anyone raising money for the club or charity can use this section of the website to let the rest of the club know..

E-mail us and we'll update for you.

100 Club

The 100 Club is a simple idea whereby you pay the Club 5 a month and you will be allocated a number which goes into a draw. (The option also exists to pay for more than one entry). As the name suggests, membership is limited to 100. At that point, we start a waiting list so that as people drop out, you will have the opportunity to activate your membership application.

There are four prizes a month and we will pay out a minimum of 40% of the money collected. When we achieve our target of 100 members, one lucky individual will win 100, the same amount being distributed among the other three winners.

The draw will take place monthly at either the Clubs committee meeting or in the Bricklayers Arms. An independent witness will always be present. The winning ticket numbers, names and amounts won will be published on the Chipstead FC website (www.chipsteadfc.org.uk). The winners will also be notified directly.

Entrants will preferably sign a Standing Order Mandate, which will automatically transfer the 5 monthly. Alternatively, 60 will buy a subscription for one year (cheques should be made payable to Chipstead FC). Only those who have paid on or before the last day of each month will be eligible for that month's draw. Entrants will receive notice of their Chipstead FC 100 Club ticket number. A favourite or lucky number can be chosen provided it has not already been taken.

The Club is trying to give more back to the local community in return for its support. Since launching a junior section in September 2004, the club has successfully helped fund a new pavilion and mini-soccer coaching area on the land adjoining the main ground. The Club now has 3 senior teams, 18 junior teams from U8s to U18s and provides Saturday morning coaching to U6s and U7s. The Club has well over 300 members and is run entirely by unpaid volunteers.

We would like to expand our activities both socially and to include more youngsters, but do not own any grounds and both match and training pitches have to be paid for. So do any improvements we make to our facilities at Chipstead, often simply to comply with Football Association regulations. Equipment such as footballs, team kits, training goals, and corner flags is another significant outlay, as is the increasing cost of match officials, especially at the level of our First team.

And unlike many other clubs, we are unable to generate significant income from hosting an annual tournament at Chipstead, due to the unavailability of the ground during the summer and the parking situation.

By making a success of the 100 Club we hope to transform the finances of the Club. All current senior club players and officers are required to join. We would be very grateful if former players, family, friends and supporters could also help to support Chipstead through its 100 Club.

For an Application Form and Standing Order Mandate please email alan_black48@hotmail.com or call Alan Black on 07753 603944 or contact any Chipstead FC player or officer.

Please action now to be eligible for the October launch.

Thank you for your support.

WHY ???

Fundraising is vitally important to the survival of an amateur sports club.. Without sponsorship and fundraising we wouldn't be able to survive.

Each year we look at raising funds through sponsorship by local companies. By donating some money to the club, (helping the club purchase the equipment we need) we can offer advertising on our club kit, on our website, newsletter and at the grounds. It is advantageous for companies to show a community relationship, by being associated with a local club.

If you know of a company or individual who may be interested, or if you have any other fundraising ideas, please let us know.
