    Yesterday's teams overcame the challenge of injuries, illness and late dropouts to win the club's second trophy in their second competitive tournament; congratulations to this week's Lions for winning the Paddock Wood Under 8s tournament yesterday ! See attached picture of the victorious team. Our Red Sox , a less experienced Chipstead team , led by Andrew House , put up a fine show in probably the strongest group. Worse was to come when they lost Archie to injury in the first game, so were down to 6 players. They battled hard and pulled off one fine victory with a goal from Alex House and strong goal keeping from Max. The Braves, led by Ian, only had 6 players to start with , but played tremendously well to qualify for the knock-out stages with 2 wins and 4 draws, goals from Alec Schaeffer, Kristian E-M, Finlay Mac (x2) and Lewis Miller. In their last group match against Sevenoaks, they played the first half with only 5 players, but still managed to secure the draw. In the...
