Chipstead Eagles U10  1 – 0  Ashurst Wood Bulls U10

In hotly contested 1st half Eagles went closest hitting the post twice. The 2^nd half was a little more open as both teams pushed for the winner. In the end Eagles fluent passing game paid dividends, as Ward swept the ball into the net after some marvellous inter-play. Pountney and Hoare, solid in defence saw Eagles close the game out after a spirited effort by Bulls.

Two very evenly matched teams fought out a very competitive first half. Eagle’s first quality passage of play was rewarded by a well taken goal by Endenburg. Bears searched hard for an equaliser and were unlucky to be 1 down at the break. Bears continued to push and Eagles persisted with their simple, accurate passing game which was rewarded with a goal for Chapman. Bears immediately pulled one back and then searched for the equaliser which they would have found if it was not for an outstanding goalkeeping performance from Reed.
