Chipstead Fete - 06-09-2008Chipstead village will be holding a Fete on Saturday 6th September 2008, from 1230 - 1630 on Chipstead Recreation Ground. The Fete has been resurrected after a gap of almost 50 years so do come along and help make it a success. There will be numerous stalls and activities organised by local groups, bouncy castles, rides, ice cream, teas & cakes, BBQ, beer tent, tug of war, fancy dress & childrens' races. A number of activities will also be run by local sports clubs - football, tennis & sailing - so come along and test your skills. The Football Club will have a registration tent for all children in school year groups 1 - 6, so do make sure you book your child in for Sat morning coaching, which commences the week after (13th September). As places are limited this year, allocation will be on a first come first served basis, after which a waiting list system will operate.
