Lifetime awards for Alan and Dave - 05-12-2011

On the 12th Nov 2011, at the 75th Anniversary dinner of Chipstead Football Club, long serving club stalwarts Dave Houston and Alan Black were presented with the first Lifetime Awards for the part they have played in the running and development of the club over many years.

Awards were presented by club president Brian White.

Dave Houtson has been a player, manager, secretary and groundsman during his time with the club and without his continued efforts the club may have folded on numerous occasions.

Alan, like Dave, has been player and manager and is currently club chairman, who has overseen the significant development of the facilities and youth section which promise to serve the club well for many generations to come.

I'm sure you'll agree both are very worthy winners and set a fine example to others - young and old.
