Eddie Rawlins Steps Down

Pressures of work have made it impossible for Chipstead 1st team manager Eddie Rawlins to be able to continue in his present role. Eddie felt it would be unfair to continue, knowing that he would not be able to provide the same level of commitment as in previous years.

In his 5 years with Chipstead, Eddie has taken the club from a mid-table Division 2 side to the Premier Division of the Kent County League, the highest playing level the club has achieved.

Eddie plans to keep in touch and will endeavour to get along to watch a few games whenever he can, work permitting.

On behalf of the club, I would like to thank Eddie for his significant contribution both on and off the field and for helping Chipstead FC achieve senior club status, something we could only have dreamed of prior to his joining us.

Alan Black - Chairman
